Songwriting has been nothing short of a gift from God for Karen. She began writing songs shortly after her salvation about 20 years ago. Karen gets unexpected downloads of songs from the Lord at any given time. Whether it is in a car, or the supermarket or arising from her slumber, God gives her songs instantaneously with music and lyrics combined. Karen even hears fresh songs from heaven in her dreams, which very often she loses because it is so difficult to recapture. She considers herself simply a conduit for the Lord to release songs from heaven, through her into the earth. What a blessing it is! Her experience in songwriting often gives her great joy because the anointing of the Lord, like fresh oil, comes with the download. She looks forward to hearing a new song from the Lord with great excitement!
